Please read this text through carefully to correctly proceed your booking for your stay at the SPA. Thank you!

In this section we would like to explain how to tailor your visit to the world famous SPA town of Carlsbad (Karlovy Vary) in the Czech Republik and adjust it ton your personal needs.

I. – How do I book the SPA ?
All hotels offered by hotel4you in Carlsbad are located in the SPA area of the town. Most hotels offer their geusts an in-house treatment service. Simply find out about the different services offered by the various estates by looking at the price list.

The various services suplied by the SPA hotels can be booked through hotel4you in advance and have following abbreviation :

Abbreviations and their meanings :

BB - Bed and Breakfast: is the basic offer of each hotel. The guest receives accomodation and breakfast at the hotel.

HB - Half Broad: In addition to the daily breakfast the hotel guest receives one more meal at the hotel (either lunch or dinner or free choice).

FB - Full Broad: The guests is fully cared for at his chosen hotel. All meals are inclusive.

BBT - Bed & Breakfast and Treatment: The guest books in addition to the BB service a SPA treatment service at the hotel. Please consider the treatment offers of each hotel. The different treatments are listed with the hotel description.

HBT - Half Broad as given above plus a SPA treatment: Please consider the treatment offers of each hotel. The different treatments are listed with the hotel description.

FBT - Full Broad as given above plus SPA treatment: Please consider the treatment offers of each hotel. The different treatments are listed with the hotel description.

II. – The SPA treatment:
The visitor to the SPA town can book a SPA treatment at the chosen hotel in advance through hotel4you. There is the possibility to proceed such treatments in-house and on top book additional SPA applications at one of the official balnearic centres during the stay.

In-house SPA treatments are not available at all hotels, which means that the usual hotel services are provided here. In this case SPA treatment has to be booked extra and takes place at private or official SPA centres in Carlsbad. Carlsbad offers such SPA applications and treatments outside hotel services at its numerous SPA centres :

A week pass or a permanent visitors pass for visits to these SPA centres can be achieved for a lower price at hotel4you.

At all treatment procedures include the use of the healing mineral water from the natural curing sources of Karlovy Vary, carbon dioxide and peat moss from Krásno near Karlovy Vary. SPA doctors from the SPA centres or the hotel owned balnearic facilities prescribe the treatments. Neverthelss, some applications can be booked without a doctor's prescription.

Important !!! The natural mineral water of Carlsbad is very rich and strong. It should therefore not be taken or drunk without instruction of a local doctor. It can unfavorably affect the daily constitution of the visitor to the SPA town.

III. How do I book the right offer ?
Would you like to enjoy your treatment proceedures exclusively in one of the official SPA centres, e.g. Zámecké Lázně (Castle Baths) ? Then simply book your hotel without treatment. In this case use only BB, HB or FB.

Example 1 :
You are travelling alone as a tourist and do not wish SPA treatment. You book a single room (SNGL) in your hotel and choose along with the offered services BB, HB or FB.

You wish additional SPA treatment at the hotel? Book BBT, HBT or FBT according to the hotel offers.

Example 2 :
Two people in a double room. Guest 1 would like a meal per day and SPA treatment procedures at the hotel. ‘HBT’ is the right choice for this guest. Person 2 in the same room (accompaning visitor) wants accomodation with breakfast and marks BB in the booking form.
In this case following has to be marked in the booking form: DBL (double room), HBT for guest 1 and BB for guest 2.

Note about treatments :
All booked applications follow a medical check-in at the hotel and consultation with the hotel doctor.
