SPA Hotel Kolonada 

The Spa Hotel Kolonada was reconstructed in 1997 combining two hotels, Patria and Otava. It is located in the very heart of Carlsbad (Karlovy Vary) over looking the romantic, world famous warm mineral water river Tepla. It lies thus at the beginning of pedestrian zone leading to most of the important Hot Springs - just across from the beautiful ‘Mill Colonnade’ (Mlýnská kolonáda). The hotel serves both patients at the spas and visitors to Karlovy Vary and its romantic region. Both services and equipment are excellent and make it a high standard four star hotel in order to provide its guests with everything to make their stay an unfogettable visit to Karlovy Vary.

All 162 rooms of the house are equipped with its bathroom (bathtub or shower), SAT- TV, radio, telephone and in-room safe, some have a minibar. A novelty at the Kolonada are four suites with Jacuzzi, eleven executive rooms and one Junior Suite, designed for families with young children. Designated non-smoking rooms are available and part of the restaurant is solely reserved for non-smokers. Pets are permitted at the hotel on the condition that they do not disturb or in any way vex other guests. All entrances to the hotel and interior spaces are suitable for wheelchair access

In a building of Hotel there is a pool, a bar, a beauty salon, a hairdressing salon, a currency exchange, a laundry, the safe, a sauna, a sun deck. In a building of sanatorium mineral water from sources is brought.

Breakfasts, dinners and suppers pass at restaurant of hotel. It is possible to order a dietary and vegetarian feed.

The Hotel Kolonada offers a wide range of conveniences for spa guests like balneological facilities, sauna, solarium and a swimming pool. The guests have at their disposition two restaurants, the beer-cellar “Pilsner Urquell” and the cosy wine-cellar as well as the cafe “Patria” and a snack bar, all situated in the hotel buildung. Services like hairdresser, cosmetic salons, 2 family saunas and a dedicated therapeutic fitness center are also available at the estate. A supervised parking lot and garages are about 300 meters away.

Each guest of hotel passes initial and final medical examination. Types and quantity of procedures are ordered by the doctor on the basis of the first examination.

Hotel has its own balneological center with the following facilities: thermal baths – carbonic, pearl ,eydropathy, scottish sprays ,underwater massage ,classic massage – partial ,reflex massage ,whirling spa of the upper limbs ,parafango ,electrotherapy ,laser therapy ,magnet therapy ,pneumo-acupuncture, group exercises in the pool ,therapeutic physical exercises, swimming pool ,inhaling, individual (thermal water) ,gums irrigation, carbonated bath, investinal washout.

For guests who order BBT, HBT or FBT services, the fee for medical check-in consultation to arrange the schedule of spa treatments (laboratory analyses, drinking cure) is included.
