SPA Hotel Thermal 

The Thermal Hotel Karlovy Vary is set in the centre of the town overlooking the main promenade. This hotel is famous for its spa treatments and is ideal for those looking for a central location.

Accommodation
We offer 273 comfortable rooms 91 single rooms, 169 double rooms and 13 suites. 2 double rooms are handicap friendly. The room amenities include a full bath, phone, radio, Satellite-TV, fridge and a safe.

All rooms have either balconies with views of the Karlovy Vary spa zone or French balconies with views of the thermal swimming pool built into the cliff above the city.

For sophisticated guests there are newly open executive rooms on the 7th floor. The above standard equipped rooms include free use of the thermal swimming pool and sauna, free parking, a gift voucher to the Lobby Bar Bon Café and services Early Check in(10:00 a.m.)/Late Check out (till 4:00 p.m.).

Restaurant Tulip is originally designed restaurant in style of seventies with the capacity of 266 seats. It is designated to hotel guests and it is possible to use it for exclusive buffets, brunches and parties as well. All the meals are served buffet style with wide range of dishes of the Czech and international cuisine incl. health food. Opening hours: Breakfast 07.00 - 10.00, Lunch 12.00 - 15.00, Dinner 18.00 - 21.00.

Sport and relaxation
You are welcome to use our unique thermal swimming pool which is built into the cliff above the city and is available not only to hotel guests, but also to public. The swimming pool is 50 m long, 17 m wide and 1 up to 4,5 m deep. In summer months there is also open a paddling pool for the youngest visitors.

The swimming pool water composition: 1/3 Karlovy Vary hot spring water, 2/3 sweet drinking water. The water temperature is 28°C in summer, 30°C in winter.

You are also welcome to borrow a sunbed free of charge, to play skittles or to visit all other facilities at the thermal swimming pool area: fitness centre and sauna.

Treatment description
INDICATIONS:
diseases of the digestive tract (stomach, duodenum, gall-bladder and ways, liver, pancreas, intestines) metabolic disorders (diabetes mellitus, obesity, gout, dyslipoproteinemia) chronic diseases of locomotor apparatus (joints, spine)

CONTRA-INDICATIONS: malignant diseases, all diseases in the acute stage, acute infections, heart-failure, unbalanced diabetes mellitus, unbalanced liver cirrhosis and acute renal failure, alcohol and drug addiction, psychosis, haemorrhage states, epilepsy, pregnancy, cachexy, clients dependent on help upon self-service, clients with a wheelchair, urinary and faecal incontinence, states after deep thrombosis until 3 months

Spa treatment stay includes: accommodation, full dietary board, 1 x entry and 1 x control medical check-up, basic laboratory screening, 3 treatment procedures per day (except Sunday and holidays), mineral water drinking cure, spa tax.

peloid applications, paraffin - hands, peat wrap, inhalation, lymphdrainage - apparatus, dry carbon dioxide bath, oxygenotherapy, pneumopuncture, sauna, hydrocolon

The type and the number of procedures is prescribed by the spa physician.
