Hotel Ambassador 

Welcome to this luxurious 1920 hotel built in Art Nouveau style on the famous Wenceslas Square (Václavské náměstí), directly in the centre of Prague. Originally the building was divided into two hotels, the ‘Ambassador’ and the ‘Golden Goose’, before they joined in 1964. All 162 rooms as well as the restaurants and conference rooms underwent a massive reconstruction in 2000. However the hotel has not lost a bit of its original distinction and historical significance after these broad innovations. At present the hotel is fully equipped to suit guests of all types of visits to Prague, be it business or tourist.

All rooms are tastefully furnished, airconditioned and have private marble bathrooms with a jacuzzi and shower. They are equipped with a minibar, SAT-TV, direct dial phone allowing conference calls up to six people, fax, internet access, safety deposit box and hairdryer.

Due to the hotel’s central location the guest basically doesn’t need to use public transportation. The majority of the famous Prague sites are within walking distance. Nevertheless the Hotel Ambassador can easily be reached by subway, station ‘Můstek’(lines A and B), or by tram, stop ‘Vodičková’, after an extended visit to the ancient quarters’ Old Town’s (Staré Město) and Smalltown Side’s (Malá Strana) monuments.
