Hotel Haštal 

The Hotel Haštal (read Hashtal) is situated directly in the Old Town (Staré Město) at the picturesque Haštal Square (Haštalské náměstí) across from the church of the Saint giving the name (St. Haštal). The Hotel is in immediate proximity to the St.Agnes Convent (Anežský Klášter), founded in 1233 by King Václav I., and the Churches of 'Our Lord The Saviour' and St. Francis which form a complex that serves the National Gallery as exhibition of a collection of Czeck paintings.

The Hotel is just 150 meters away from the romantic bank of the river Vltava and located within short walking distance from historic Old Town Square (Staroměstské náměstí) as well as the Jewish Town ‘Josefov’ with the oldest Jewish cemetery in Europe. The famous Belle Epoque Community Hall (Obecní dům) with the adjacent gothic Pulver Tower (Prašná brána) and the pedestrian precinct are also neighbours to the hotel.

The family-style hotel is a 4-story building (elevator is in the house), including an attic. Half of the rooms face the St. Haštal Church and square. The rear area of the property features a beautiful garden which is used as a summer cafe. The first floor hosts two breakfast rooms.
